MKMMA Experience – Week 8
I Guess We Should …
Cut the Cord???
Well, week 8, Sunday night webinar, was starting to tie everything we were learning together, until I had to put the breaks on. LOL Mark J. was talking about a person in mlm marketing that was making $60,000 a month, and Mark had kept asking him how he did it, but the fellow didn’t want to offend his friend by telling him what he really needed to do to succeed.
I had already said I would give up some TV time and internet time to have time for our course, but I could see the “writing on the wall” during the Sunday night webinar. I knew the fellow was going to tell Mark to go and unplug his TV sets. But the fellow not only told Mark to unplug all his TV sets, but to actually cut the cords. Well, it obviously works because Mark J. lives on his dream property in Kawaii and can travel etc. when he wants to …… so a ‘NO TV” sign went up on my TV!!! (At least for the 7 days suggested in our homework notes)
But no TV, seriously, I am back in that big surf swirl AGAINNNN, that I mentioned in my first blog. Like going thru withdrawal, and the timing couldn’t be worse could it! LOL The MKMMA team had just started us on a 7 Day Mental Diet, and suggested that to help us keep from having any negative thoughts or feelings, it might help to get thru the 7 Days without having to start over, if we tried to avoid people that push our buttons. You see the diet suggests that every time you have a negative thought/emotion that you don’t identify and change by the 7 laws of the mind, in 7 seconds or less, you have to start the 7 days over again – IT REALLY IS NOT EASY! Mark suggested that people’s children should go without TV as well – Now, luckily my children have their own homes, cause I can’t help but think how the mental diets of people with children in the course are fairing with their children trying every way conceivable to get to watch TV again – LOL
It is now, Thursday morning and I still haven’t cheated and turned on the TV, in secret, and my husband is helping me out by not watching it either, which I really appreciate! And, I think I actually, not only have more time, but feel better. Sitting down to dinner with my husband, the way we use to, gives us more time for conversation, and I feel we are enjoying our meals more as well!
So, if you are saying you don’t have time to do something that will improve your life, better think again, and cut the cord!!
