(Funny thing, my husband recently picked up a cd of Huey Lewis – he wasn’t looking for it, just had to pick one cause it was a special deal, but we have been really enjoying it.   Puts you in a good mood – and I realized as soon as I started to write this blog that it was the theme song – The Power of Love!   Enjoy!)

Our course is growing to a close – it has been a rollercoaster ride, amusement-park-1128760_960_720[1]

but we are almost across the bridge and it is getting easier!

There is a lot of information on bullying these days.   I know like many, each person has different stories of bullying, whether in school, by a sibling or a parent, and I can think of some instances of my own, but I think what I really figured out, especially in this class, is that I am probably harder on myself than anyone, so I have decided to stop bullying myself.  STOP BULLYING YOURSELF

You might recall we have been trying to not have opinions, unless we are considered an expert and people are asking for it. Well, this week they put that week on steroids, but I think it really came at a good time for me to let some feelings go…

I also am planning on taking a day to really be in the silence and see what other gifts I have and discover if I am on the right path.

But for this week I am focusing on my inner spirit and am becoming more immune to criticism and being fearful of challenge, so I am able to focus more on the power of love and use my energy more creatively towards my goals and helping others.

One of the great things about this course has been writing gratitude cards, and a sentence on one of my favourite moments of the day before, so I can be happier as I read and reread each happy moment and see how large my stack of gratitude cards has become. But I think reading our latest cards we are to add to our stacks is really going to be changing point.

By following the advice of the 3 cards below, I will go through life, happier and succeeding easier, and I thank the MKMMA course and their staff for all that they have done to help me and so many others.

Make your own cards to read daily:

Card 1.   Law of Least Effort: Acceptance

I practice Acceptance. Today I accept people, situations, circumstances and events as they occur.   I know that this moment is as it should be, because the whole universe is as it should be. I do not struggle against the whole universe by struggling against this moment. My acceptance is total and complete . I accept things as they are in this moment, not as I wish they were.

Card 2. Law of Least Effort: Responsibility

Having accepted things as they are, I take Responsibility for my situation and for all those events I see as problems. I know that taking responsibility means not blaming anyone or anything for my situation (and this includes myself). I also know that every problem is an opportunity in disguise, and this alterness to opportunities allows me to take this moment and transform it into a greater benefit.

Card 3. Law of Least Effort: Defenselessness

Today my awareness remains established in Defenselessness. I relinquish the need to defend my point of view. I will feel no need to convince or persuade others to accept my point of view. I remain open to all points of view and am not rigidly attached to any one of them.

If you have been hard on yourself and making life harder than it needs to be, read the laws of least effort and stop being a bully to yourself. Give love instead of judging and love instead of defending.  The power of love!

Peace be your journey!   Mahalo  sea-1111483_960_720[1]

I loved this! The Power of Love!! When I was growing up, I was rather “tough” I ran with the Rebels. But One of the things I did, and do to this day;.. I stick up for the underdogs. The ones being bullied. I never put up with that and I believe I was liked
(& Respected) by a lot of the good kids. IDK, it is my nature to protect.
Thank you for sharing
Good blessings to you Connie??

Oh my gosh we are the same person. lol I grew up much the same, and I can remember my mom telling people I always stuck up for the underdog – she didn’t always say it in the nicest way as I recall, but here I am still today trying to help others, so in a way I always thought for myself. My son would say I looked at the world differently, so only goes to figure on my journey to health and my better self, that I would finally come across the MKMMA course, I guess. Did you tell me you will be at Kauai live?
