THINK ABOUT IT – opportunity knocking?

images[1] Is opportunity knocking –

and you aren’t letting it in?? (week 11)

Think about it – that is what we are being taught with our MKMMA course. We are taught to actually stop and think about what it is we would like to do with our lives – not what others think we should do! Then we think about already having it. If our wishes are for the good of all involved, as the bible says, “Whatsover things ye desire, when we pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them”. But they must be good thoughts for all involved.

We are learning more about how our brains work and the thoughts stuck in our subconscious . Some we placed in there as young children, not really understanding what the information we stored away was really all about.  Some information we stored from friends and co-workers etc., but we live day to day using this information even unbeknownst to ourselves.

Let me give you an example – I am a network marketer, and as a child I was told repeatedly, not to talk to strangers. I filed this away in my subconscious mind and although my conscious mind is pretty sure the person I am talking to is safe, based on my fear of talking to strangers flashing lights of danger, danger, from my subconscious, how do you think my comfort zone is going up and talking to strangers, even though as an adult I am pretty sure that the person across from me seems to be pretty safe.

Now don’t get me wrong, you still have to have some common sense, ie don’t talk to them in a back alley, etc. but our subconscious makes decisions for us even before our conscious brain starts to decide.

Most young people know more about their phones, than they do about how their brains work, but relationships and improving their lives could be so much easier if they taught more about what is going thru our minds.

My job is even harder, because the flight or fight pattern that we have set up, automatically goes up because of key words we say, and then any helpful information I give out is stopped, because of the salesmen alert? I am not saying this is not helpful at times, but I also think that people are missing out on some good information because their subby takes over. So when opportunity knocks – are you answering the door??? Or has your subconscious already told you there is danger behind closed doors – and are you missing out on an opportunity of a lifetime?

What we spend hours and hours thinking about often comes about – but be watching for the good stuff cause you just might miss it!

I think of the story of “The Drowning Man” is a good example.drowning man

A fellow was stuck on his rooftop in a flood. He was praying to God for help.
Soon a man in a rowboat came by and the fellow shouted to the man on the roof, “Jump in, I can save you.”
The stranded fellow shouted back, “No, it’s OK, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me.”
So the rowboat went on.
Then a motorboat came by. “The fellow in the motorboat shouted, “Jump in, I can save you.”
To this the stranded man said, “No thanks, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith.”
So the motorboat went on.
Then a helicopter came by and the pilot shouted down, “Grab this rope and I will lift you to safety.”
To this the stranded man again replied, “No thanks, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith.”
So the helicopter reluctantly flew away.
Soon the water rose above the rooftop and the man drowned. He went to Heaven. He finally got his chance to discuss this whole situation with God, at which point he exclaimed, “I had faith in you but you didn’t save me, you let me drown. I don’t understand why!”
To this God replied, “I sent you a rowboat and a motorboat and a helicopter, what more did you expect?”
The bible provides us a very big opportunity and it is the focus of our lesson for this week.
“Whatsover things ye desire, when we pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them”.
Notice that there is no limitation, “Whatsoever things” is very definite and implies that the only limitation which is placed upon us is our ability to think, to be equal to the occasion, to remember that Faith is not a shadow, but a substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”
So I am very glad that when opportunity knocked that I could improve my life by taking the MKMMA course. I opened the door and my mind to the possibilities – I had faith in the process. I am so glad I did.
Think about it – with an open mind – the next time you think opportunity might be knocking, could your subconscious be holding you back from your bliss…… ?   Sign up for free and get more helpful information!

Just think about it! Isn’t that a phrase you coined years ago? You are always saying that.:-)
Love the story. Dad told that as a joke years ago, probably heard it from your Dad. I never really thought about it’s meaning till now.
